The AERO MACHINE â„¢ utilizes a high output pump and microjets to deliver a highly oxygenated spray of nutrient solution to the bare roots of plants.The plants are grown in net baskets containing a plastic rootguard lid to block out light to the net basket and the nutrient solution. The net basket sits in a hole drilled out in the AERO MACHINE â„¢ lid. The lid contains a knob to allow easy inspection of the root zone by lifting the lid. The AERO 4 and AERO 6 lids have four legs to lift the lid and the plants out of the AERO MACHINE â„¢ and set them next to the tub so as not to damage the sensitive roots. For a small increase in cost, growers can also utilize expanded clay grow rock in the net baskets for added plant support, and stability.
Aeroponics is one of the fastest plant cultivation methods for growing vegetables, herbs, flowers and houseplants due to the high level of dissolved oxygen delivered to the root zone.
